Hertfordshire, 2nd October 2015 ? KOEI TECMO Europe announced that Samurai Warriors 4-II is available today through retailers across Europe for the PlayStation4 computer entertainment system. The game is also available digital download on the PlayStation3 computer entertainment system, PlayStationVita handheld entertainment system, and on PC via Steam.
Samurai Warriors 4-II is a hero-focused saga that casts a spotlight on the Samurai that shaped the Sengoku era and tells their stories through 13 exciting new chapters. These chapters revolve around nine characters introduced in Samurai Warriors 4, three fan-favourites from previous titles and a brand new addition to the samurai roster. Many new and improved features have been added as the battle, action, and character development systems have been revamped. Weapons and mounts have ranks and levels, and similar types can be combined to upgrade their level and abilities.
The game also introduces a highly challenging and richly rewarding mode called Survival Mode, where players push themselves to the limit by taking control of their favourite character and entering a daunting castle with endless levels and countless rewards! Defeating thousands of enemies and completing objectives results in collecting weapons and mounts to be used in the game?s story mode, but only if the player escapes the castle before the health or time bars deplete. The higher the climb, the more difficult and numerous the enemies are, and the more lucrative the rewards.
These exciting features open up endless possibilities that provide a unique play-style for each of the 13 protagonists of this riveting war drama.
