Come tutti gli anni, Sony festeggia celebrando i titoli più graditi e più venduti in Giappone sulle proprie piattaforme, complimentandosi coi vincitori a prescindere da sviluppatori e publisher. I titoli che hanno venduto 500.000 copie ricevono un Gold Prize, quelli che hanno superato il milione un ambito Platinum Prize, che quest'anno è andato ad un solo campione di vendite: Final Fantasy XIII di Square Enix. Una classifica a parte ha premiato i titoli più venduti del mercato Online PSN, mentre l'User Choise è stato assegnato rispettando i voti degli utenti.
