Square Enix ha annunciato di aver aumentato e potenziato i server destinati alla vendita e alla gestione della versione digital delivery di Final Fantasy XIV: a Realm Reborn. Dopo lo stop del 28 Agosto, il MMORPG è adesso nuovamente acquistabile per via telematica sia su PC sia su PS3.

LONDON (17 September, 2013) – Square Enix Ltd., the publisher of SQUARE ENIX® interactive products in Europe and PAL territories is pleased to announce that digital sales and downloads of FINAL FANTASY® XIV: A Realm Reborn™ have now resumed for Windows PC and the PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system platforms.
Due to unprecedented demand to access the game at launch digital sales were suspended on 28 August. The company has performed extensive server maintenance, increasing the number of servers for players worldwide, the capacity of players per World and the number of concurrent players. Following this maintenance access to the game is now functioning as originally intended.
The company would like to thank all the existing players and welcome those that were waiting to join the adventure.
