Sotto la regia di Joss Whedon, troveremo nuovamente Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Cobie Smulders, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, e James Spader sarà Ultron. Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen e Thomas Kretschmann nei panni rispettivamente di Quicksilver, Scarlet Witch e il Barone von Strucker.
