Ieri sera al Beverly Hilton Hotel di Los Angeles si è svolta la quarta edizione dei Critics' Choice Television Awards, premi televisivi assegnati annualmente dalla Broadcast Television Journalists Association (BTJA), formata da oltre cinquanta critici televisivi appartenenti alle principali testate giornalistiche statunitensi, operanti nel mondo della televisione, della radio, della carta stampata e su internet.
La cerimonia, trasmessa in diretta dal network The CW, è stata presentata dall'attore e umorista statunitense Cedric the Entertainer. Le candidature erano state annunciate il 28 Maggio 2014, e le serie più premiate della serata sono state la dark comedy di Netflix Orange Is the New Black e la miniserie di FX Fargo, con tre statuette ciascuna. Ottimo riscontro anche per Breaking Bad, Tatiana Maslany (Orphan Black) - alla sua seconda statuetta consecutiva - e la doppia vittoria di Allison Janney per Mom e Masters of Sex.
