E3 2003, Nintendo needed something big to get ahead of Xbox and the PS2. The IGN team for the conference was (in the picture left to right) Matt Casamassina, Craig Harris, Chadd Chamers, Peer Schneider. At the conference Nintendo pulled out “Pacman vs.” Here is our heroes’ reaction.

How this meme started was on IGN’s boards and then slowly made it’s way to 2chan where it got the name “Gaijin 4Koma” which basically means “4-panels-foreigners” then it went to 4chan then all across the web.
