Dragon Quest VIII [New Details]

Novità sui characters:

Square Enix has announced the first four playable characters set to appear in its PlayStation 2 RPG Dragon Quest VIII. Jessica is the game's whip-wielding strong heroine. She and the game's protagonist will be joined by the scar-faced power fighter Youngus, Trod who looks like a monster due to his green-colored body, and the silver haired fencer Kukul, whose trademark is his odd laughter.
Dragon Quest VIII will be available in Japan sometime this year. Fans however will be able to get a first peek at the game later this month, when Square Enix ships the PlayStation 2 remake of Dragon Quest V: Hanayome no Tenguu, as the game will come with a Dragon Quest VIII Premium Picture Disc.

Square Enix has revealed the subtitle for the eighth main installment of its Dragon Quest series. Dragon Quest VIII's subtitle is called Sora to Umi to Daichi to Norowareshi Himegimi (Sky, Sea, Land and the Cursed Princess). Previously, the company had registered this title as a trademark in Japan.
Dragon Quest VIII: Sora to Umi to Daichi to Norowareshi Himegimi will be available in Japan sometime this year.

Perche' quelli di Final Fantasy n+7 vantano una varieta'...
Sembrano tutti delle idol, anche quelli maschili.
Almeno i personaggi di Tori godono di una notevole caratterizzazione e di uno spessore psicologico insospettabile, sconosciuto ad altre produzioni che si avvalgono di uno specifico lavoro di character design, e che si stia parlando di anime, e che si prenda in considerazione il panorama dell' electronic entertainment.
Oltre a sfidare ogni tipo di stereotipo convenzionato ed ergersi al di sopra di qualsiasi trend, da almeno un ventennio.
Acc...dovevo astenermi.

Per farsi un' idea piu' chiara della totale inottemperanza di questo autore a qualunque canone affermatosi nel campo del character design oltre che della sua misura composta ma sagace, consiglio una rilettura ponderata, nell' ordine, del masterpiece "Cowa!" e dell' irriverente "Neko Majin Z".

Sapevo che sarebbe andata così, cmq chi scrive ha già letto quanto gli si consiglia. Si potrebbe parlare anche di tecnica e le anatomie di Toriyama non sono poi così altisonanti. Ah, poi ho detto che questo charade è fatto anche bene. E chiudo qui, perchè si va ot pesantemente e perchè si procede per luoghi comuni [consiglio di perdere tempo davanti ai portraits di Kimhari, Yuna, Auron, Red XIII...idol, eh sì anche i TaruTaru sembrano proprio idol, i personaggi di Cystal Chronicles, Final Fantasy IX...meglio smettere ].

ps.lo spessore psicologico insospettato me lo segno.

Square Enix has released some new tidbits regarding the upcoming PlayStation 2 remake of Dragon Quest V: Tenguu no Hanayome. In the Arte Piazza-developed title players will not only have a carriage at their disposal, but also a ship to cross oceans and a magic carpet. Using the latter will enable players to reach places inaccessible by ship or carriage.
Dragon Quest V: Tenguu no Hanayome for PlayStation 2 will be available in Japan on March 25th for 7,800 yen ($69.62 US). The game will ship with a Dragon Quest VIII Premium Picture Disc.
